Cook Remodeling and Custom Construction is committed to helping those in need, and for the care of our environment in the local community. We do this by the green remodeling practices of recycling building materials, organizing the donation of useable products & appliances, as well as offering our skills to support local non-profit construction renovation projects.

Janet Cook is a business owner volunteer that has served the last three years as a semi-finalist nominator for Phoenix, East Valley applicants for NFIB’s annual national Young Entrepreneur Award. Since its inception in 2003, the Foundation has awarded over 2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors totaling more than $2.3 million. Last year two seniors from Scottsdale won, and four from other Arizona cities. The National Federation of Independent Business’ Young Entrepreneur Foundation will grant NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards nationwide in the amount of $1,000 – $10,000. In addition to our donation of time, we donate a percentage of our profits to local charities that serve those in need (e.g. St. Vincent DePaul) and national charities such as Habitat for Humanity.
