Start Now For A New Kitchen Or Bath In 2019!
Start Your Remodeling Now!

The current remodeling boom is a reflection of a good economy, and that is good news. With high demand though, it can take longer to get to the stage of enjoying the finished product. There may be a staff shortage, it could take longer to receive materials that need to be ordered, and with more projects to put in the construction schedule, you may want to get started sooner, than later!...

Do You Grow Your Own Deliciousness?

There are many reasons to want to grow your own fresh produce. There have been recalls in the recent past of romaine lettuce, strawberries, spinach, and melons. Extreme weather and fires have taken out celery, cabbage, cilantro crops. It used to be everyone grew their own food, and there is an urban farming movement to return to those roots...

Want a salty or sweet snack? Or both?

Want a healthy snack while enjoying a movie? This combination gives a high fiber, is protein packed, and adds more veggies to your day! Be careful, it could get addictive! Make the honey roasted chickpeas ahead of time, and when you feel like eating popcorn, make the cauliflower popcorn recipe so you can serve it hot, combine the two and serve for a sweet and salty snack!...

Need A Good Laugh?!

A professor was known for giving boring, cliche-ridden lectures for a required course, until an innovative group of students breathed new life into the course by assigning baseball plays to each hackneyed phrase.

For example, when the professor said, "On the other hand," that counted as a base hit. "By the same token" was a strike out; "and so on" counted as a stolen base, "begs the question" was an out. Divided into two teams by the center aisle of the lecture hall, the students played inning after inning of silent but competitive baseball. Whoever had the most points at the end of the lecture won.

On the last day of class, the impossible happened: the score was tied and bases were loaded and there was only five minutes left to class. There was great tension. At the last moment, the batter got to hit a home run! The winning team jumped up and cheered wildly.

Though deeply appreciative, the professor later was quoted as wondering why only half of the students seemed enthusiastic about his lectures.
