Fall Festivals for Fun!

All over the world festivals are organized to celebrate the season and gather people together to build community. Themes can be about the arts & crafts, music, food, cultures, history, films, books, home tours, hot air balloons, harvests, holidays, or even the smorgasbord of fun at the fair. It is a chance to discover and support local businesses and entrepreneurs, budding artists, to learn new things and get ideas, find treasures, make new friends, and create special memories.

Now that the weather makes it great again to be outdoors, we are back in the rhythm of school, it’s time to add your favorites on your calendar that you don’t want to miss. You can watch for events on Facebook, Eventbrite, Nextdoor, in community news publications, subscribe to institutions (e.g. Desert Botanical Garden, Ethnic Cultural Centers) or doing an internet search.

A little planning will make the experience more enjoyable. The weather may feel cooler, but the sun can still burn, so wear clothing, hat, sunblock to keep from being overexposed to the sun. Stay hydrated. Have realistic expectations of an event, parking may be a challenge, there may be long lines, so choose to stay relaxed and go with the flow. The last day of an event tends to be the busiest. Have a plan to keep valuables secure, and if going as a group, when to meet up and check in periodically.

Here are some upcoming favorites to get you thinking of the possibilities!

Clients Reviews

I can’t say anything negative about Cook Remodeling. I absolutely adore them. They did everything that they said they would do. They did such a super job for my previous home where they did a kitchen, a bathroom, and a room addition. In this house I did not hesitate to call them do a complete room addition. I would recommend Cook Remodeling to anybody. I have referred them to several of my friends and have never had any bad feedback.
